  Really good?  Having real people probably won't make an ounce of 
difference, since they're probably going to end up being "Zombie #7" or 
another similarly unimportant role.  Also, RE (and its sequel) doesn't really 
have much of a plot; it's basically a haunted house story where the "innocent 
victims" have high-calibre weapons.

  This is assuming they're even making it.  The Doom movie idea has been 
bandied about for years on end, and nothing has been done about it.  The Wing 
Commander movie, on the other hand... they've announced the cast list 
(haven't read it yet), so THAT, at least, should be done.

  Perhaps.  It IS one of the few games with a story deeper than rescuing a 
captive princess.  But will they focus on making a good movie, or will they 
just try to cash in on a good title (such as with Street Fighter II and 
Mortal Kombat)?
