MR->Red box uses your DOS and windows for support. The blue box (spine) has 
DOS
  ->Windows built in. No need for any extra stuff. And for what it's worth, I
  ->haven't found much that I can't run on winos2. You do have to watch out 
for
  ->Win32 stuff, but that is not that important to me.
Actually DOS is not required with either flavor box... only Windows with
the red.
