123c5490c3b7 tech Hello Matt - JH>> more recently, "Gorilla Glue" or such. I wish I knew more JH>> about what some of these newer adhesives can do. MM> I'm NOT satisfied with "Gorilla Glue", too much 'foam', and MM> not enough strength. I've been experimenting with some MM> other brands of 'Polyurethane Cement', particularly MM> "Elmers" brand, which has much less foaming and possibly MM> more strength. MM> So far though nothing beats plain old cheap epoxy. :-)) 35 or so years ago FoMoCo forgot to arrange for a boss to exist to mount a part to the engine so they created an epoxy that could withstand 700 degF. After this they sold the formula to Maraset. This epoxy was used by Dyna-Rewind to glue the windings on the armatures of their slot car racing motors. If Maraset still exists as a company that epoxy might be useful. > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ --- * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ...
