Hi Janis,

 JK> > (Maxie's)

JK> We did to there on one picnic here, I really liked the abundance of
 JK> clams :)

>> ncredibly good seafood (well, the clam dishes were exquisite :))

JK> > Never heard of it but if given a chance, I'll try it. Of course we
 JK> live > just a few hours away from NC seafood;

JK> That is the ONE thing I miss most regarding living in SENYS... the
JK> seafood available at every local seafood shop.. even my stinky home
JK> town had one, because the owner of that shop traveled to NYC to the
 JK> fish market every day.

Did you see my write up of the meal Steve and I had with his family? The
fish was excellent; the seafood was very forgettable.

 JK> > we're debating a trip to the
JK> > coast this fall. If so, I'll load up a cooler there, to be
JK> transferred > to the freezer of fresh, local seafood.

 JK> Sounds good :)

It's the only way to go. (G)

>> up "enough" I can play with two hands. When I can't that's when I
>> know I need to practice more and force the issue to lossen things up
>> (MS doesn't help (g)).

 JK> loosen even (G)

JK> > The sister that could play, took lessons when her elder son did as a
JK> > child. She plays like a robot tho, no expression to it.

JK> Ah that's sad. I've heard my son play with such feeling and emotion I
JK> couldn't understand why he gave it up. My daughter plays the same way
JK> and won a number of awards throughout the time she was taking lessons,
 JK> etc.

Is she still playing?

JK> cookies > (no peanut butter) and Kool-aide.

JK> Ron and I headed a puppet ministry that traveled all over the NY-PA-NJ
JK> areas. We had a troup of teenagers as well that were willing to give
JK> up their time, and a few other adults doing the sound etc. I still
JK> have the puppets here somehwere and the scripts. One thing we noticed
JK> right off the bat was that
JK> -everyone- loved watching puppets and could relate (insane to me now
JK> thinking about it) . We mostly told stories that we thought were
JK> imporant... with some humor :) We used purchased sound tracks like
JK> from Music Machine as well..

JK> If you decide to try it, let me know :)

OK, but it might be a while. We're operating with a tight budget this
year. The crafts projects are using some materials from last year, some
minimal purchases and some recycle type materials.
