Sometimes exceptions can be made. There was a case in our area here a
few years ago for a 7 year old kid--he got the drug, did well but IIRC,
ended up a couple of years later out of remission.

And probably ruined any taste buds she had after a few years on them.
Did she seem to cook with more than the usual amount of seasoning?
