-> Yep, it's called pinning, and it means "I'm outta control!"
THAT's fer sure! The Yellow Cheek would get to laughing and first thing
you know, there went those eyes! If he was sitting on your shoulder it
was time to guard your ear! He nibbled (VERY gently) on my office
managers ears all the time.
-> I never said Amazons were the SMARTEST parrot, they're just the best!
I've been giving this "Self awareness" test a lot of thought, and I'm
still on the fence. I'm pretty sure some dogs are.... I've also been
SURE that parrots are, (in the past) but now that I think back on it I
wonder if I was just projecting their idiocy back onto them. They are
SO funny sometimes, and when they're mad at you I feel strongly that
they personalize YOU as the object of their ire. (As opposed to just
being in a bitchy mood, when they hate EVERYBODY!) Ten seconds after
almost taking my field supervisors eye out the YC was whispering in my
office manager's ear about what a bastard he'd just bitten.
-> My DYH and grey have become strangely affectionate in the last week.
Oh oh! When my YC got in a really affectionate mood you could count on
him having a pinning, conniption fit in a few days. Frustration?
-> lurk- Rich's taglines alone are priceless.
Absolutely!
