The ultimate in flexible configuration :-) Reminds me of the IBM approach
to configuration on the mainframe - make the change and 'just' IPL (we can
fit the 30-40 minutes required in during lunch can't we :-)). You can see
this philosophy has been carried over to OS/2. How do you change the PATH
and LIBPATH? Just reboot.

door, Emacs manual in one hand, disks in the other, trying to convert the

The difference here is that you were happy to use the default key bindings
that came with Emacs so you didn't need to read the manual. I refuse to
learn them and won't use Emacs until I've configured the editor the way I
want it. Until I get around to reading how to configure it (I'm sure it'll
be Real Soon Now) I'm not using it!



The way you've made the tabs work is the way I want them. Now what about
shift-tab :-)
