OK, now here's the deal. I'm going in for some dental surgery tomorrow
morning. It's expected to be painful for several days, a prescription
for heavy-duty pain-killers will be provided. I'm not sure if I'm going
to be in any shape to analyze the markets this week. We'll see. If I
babble, just turn down the sound. I've got probably four of these to
look forward to over the next 6-8 months. Wheee!

Today the market opened lower, after the terrorist warning. It
see-sawed a bit in early morning, but strengthened early in the
afternoon. Prices were modestly higher, but volume fell to -9% below
average.

So it wasn't a bad day, just like much of the rest of the year. How bad
could it get for the rest of the week? Ummm, no, don't answer that.
Just remember, "that was then, this is now". Be more conservative in
your investment strategy than you were last century.

Timing Signals: I don't use or recommend timing signals, but they're
fun to watch. If I did though, well, I might use something like this.
(Be warned!! It tends to whipsaw around signal points!)

Last Signal: SELL Date: 07/02/04 S&P: 1125
Winner or Loser: Winner By: +12
