Hi Nancy,
NB> NB>> That's apparently what they are looking for... especially if
NB> NB>> there are enough sufficiently affluent people....
RH> In Cary, yes, there are more affluent people. WF is less so, but
RH> enough to probably support a store, just in numbers of shoppers.
NB> Not sure what they particularly look for in the demographics... I'm
NB> sure it isn't just numbers of shoppers, though... :)
A little bit of this, a little bit of that................
NB> all NB>>> the expansion has still been East Coast states... But the
NB> market NB>>> might be appealing to them, all the same....
NB> RH>> You never know, unless you're part of corporate headquarters.
NB> (G) NB>> Exactly... :)
RH> Of which, neither of us are. (G)
NB> True enough... ;)
Not yet, anyways.
NB> NB>>> I think she was already putting together a box of things to
NB> mail NB>>> to herself...
NB> RH>> Smart thinking.
NB> NB>> But I don't think it included any goodies from Wegmans.... I
NB> think NB>> she merely slaked the thirst by getting stuff while she
NB> was still NB>> in range and could... some things don't mail well..
NB> ;)
RH> Depends on what she got. (G)
NB> Or what she was craving.... :)
And couldn't get at home...............
NB> RH>>> family) out west on a different (budget) airline and got nickel
NB> RH>>> & dimed to death on charges/surcharges for everything,
NB> including RH>>> a seat that reclined.
NB> NB>> Kinda adds up to be more expensive... one doesn't always think
NB> of NB>> adding in all those extras to the seemingly bottom line...
RH> They are not going to fly that airline again, nor use the car rental
RH> agency they went with (on a relative's advice).
NB> Can't say as I blame them one whit... :)
Nope!
NB> RH>> To a certain extent, yes.
NB> NB>> Still can't go totally overboard... ;)
RH> No, we can only tow a certain weight so we have to keep that in mind.
NB> And even light stuff, one can only fit just so much in... ;)
Yes, we brought an empty cooler................
NB> NB>> LIkewise, nor mine... And neither of our bodies could deal with
NB> the NB>> physical strains of the job.... I'd still be tempted were
NB> it not for NB>> that... :)
RH> OTOH, I've found other areas that fit my interests/abilities/etc much
RH> more so than something like nursing.
NB> As I've been caring for various people and managing their medical
NB> care, I've been rather surprised how I've taken to medical things,
NB> like a
NB> sponge... whether medicalese, pharmaceutical info, or whatever....
NB> When I go in for procedures, I'm usually asked if I'm a nurse, since I
NB> sound knowledgeable, and can rattle off my meds (and allergies)
NB> without a
NB> falter... If I was physically up to it, it would indeed be something
NB> I might really consider, even at my age... But, as I'm not up to the
NB> lifting or the standing etc, it's not going to happen... :)
So look into what you can do with your experience, education, etc. You
might have a good part of the training done already, just in OJT.
