About a year ago, I tried putting up telegard and for some strange reason. When Using msyncfoss, it also would lock up when a user logged on. Not during the logon process but just as the bbs was loading on to the log on process. I switched to syncfoss, which actually made Telegard run slower, but the lockups stopped. Maybe try a different fossil, just for the heck of making sure that is not the problem, might help.
