While Netware for OS/2 is by no means a mainstream product, there are
many who actively use it (just a FYI for you). As a matter of fact,
The CNE-4 Study Guide by Chellis, Easlick, Moncur, Olsen & Tanner,
Network Press, Sybex, used a Netware for OS/2 server during the
production of the CNE-4 Study Guide -- which, IMHO is a much better
study guide than the one put out by Mr. D.J. Clarke, IV through Novell
Press. The point being that Netware for OS/2, while not widely used, is
not a novelty item used by the backroom hacker but actually sees use in
the commercial environment and can be a productive item if used in the
proper situation.
There are other commercial endeavors out there using Netware for OS/2
but I won't increase the bandwidth or bore you with details. My point
was simply that it is being used, just not widely and not well known.
