-> No, not at all! You WANT this in a horse. If they get stuck in
-> something they wait for you instead of panicing and hurting
-> themselves.. I periodically toss rope around Tush's legs to
-> re-enforce this.
I hadn't thought about doing this to Diva. I think she needs more work
with the halter rope on the ground before I start this though. She use
to panic if she stepped on it now she gets upset but calms right back
down. Smokey, of course, just figures out which foot is on the lead
rope and moves that foot. Smokey has unhooked the panic snap from his
halter a couple of times now. I wish I knew how he was doing this. If
he ever gets it completely figured out I won't be able to tie him at
all. Smart horses sure are annoying.
-> Except.. I don'tuse typical commands after having CJ cue off the
-> loudspeakers at a show.. it's now:
ONe of the smart alec kids did that to me when I was riding Imbri once.
It was funny except I have trouble riding and laughing at the same time.
-> Tonight she was feeling REALLY good.. turned her out by herself
-> (Straw was a bit under the weather).. then tried to drive her..
-> oppps! She was so full of herself she started hunching up and
-> bucking..
All this lovely cool weather?
