RH>> OK, so we will probably get a good sized one. There are enough
RH>> people in the area to support it.
NB>> That's apparently what they are looking for... especially if
NB>> there are enough sufficiently affluent people....
RH> In Cary, yes, there are more affluent people. WF is less so, but
RH> enough to probably support a store, just in numbers of shoppers.
Not sure what they particularly look for in the demographics... I'm sure
it isn't just numbers of shoppers, though... :)
NB>>> It's fairly unlikely, actually, that they'd be considering TX,
NB>>> since that's moving further inland from the Coast... so far all
NB>>> the expansion has still been East Coast states... But the market
NB>>> might be appealing to them, all the same....
RH>> You never know, unless you're part of corporate headquarters. (G)
NB>> Exactly... :)
RH> Of which, neither of us are. (G)
True enough... ;)
NB>>> I think she was already putting together a box of things to mail
NB>>> to herself...
RH>> Smart thinking.
NB>> But I don't think it included any goodies from Wegmans.... I think
NB>> she merely slaked the thirst by getting stuff while she was still
NB>> in range and could... some things don't mail well.. ;)
RH> Depends on what she got. (G)
Or what she was craving.... :)
RH>>> Yes, and having an airline that has such a lenient allowance on
RH>>> luggage made it very nice for us. A friend just flew (with her
RH>>> family) out west on a different (budget) airline and got nickel
RH>>> & dimed to death on charges/surcharges for everything, including
RH>>> a seat that reclined.
NB>> Kinda adds up to be more expensive... one doesn't always think of
NB>> adding in all those extras to the seemingly bottom line...
RH> They are not going to fly that airline again, nor use the car rental
RH> agency they went with (on a relative's advice).
Can't say as I blame them one whit... :)
RH>>> Hope so. We'll have the camper plus the car we can load up with
RH>>> goodies, both from there and Olindo's.
NB>>> You'll be able to get more than usual, now... :)
RH>> To a certain extent, yes.
NB>> Still can't go totally overboard... ;)
RH> No, we can only tow a certain weight so we have to keep that in mind.
And even light stuff, one can only fit just so much in... ;)
NB>>> Nurses, especially good ones, are in high demand... :)
RH>> I thought about it at one time, but it wasn't my calling.
NB>> LIkewise, nor mine... And neither of our bodies could deal with the
NB>> physical strains of the job.... I'd still be tempted were it not for
NB>> that... :)
RH> OTOH, I've found other areas that fit my interests/abilities/etc much
RH> more so than something like nursing.
As I've been caring for various people and managing their medical care,
I've been rather surprised how I've taken to medical things, like a
sponge... whether medicalese, pharmaceutical info, or whatever.... When
I go in for procedures, I'm usually asked if I'm a nurse, since I sound
knowledgeable, and can rattle off my meds (and allergies) without a
falter... If I was physically up to it, it would indeed be something I
might really consider, even at my age... But, as I'm not up to the
lifting or the standing etc, it's not going to happen... :)
