Tell us what bbs package you're using. We will need that.

YOu say you know how to set up frontdoor and get it working. Did you

obtain a nodelist and compile it?

THe bbs software you use determines what you'll need to process mail, what

tosser/scanner/packer, etc.

That information would be useful. Also, a good reading of the docs might

help.

The newer versions of the binkley docs have sample config files you edit

to suit, and go.

If you're on the internet, try ftp juge.com, or look around for the docs.

Or, get the sysop of the system where you posted this note to freq

binkdocs from my boss node, or bdoc_260.zip from 1:106/2000. The magic

name will work on 1:283/525. Just have your sysop request binkdocs.

DO you have the ability to send/receive netmail from the board you posted

from?

You might find it useful while you're getting things set up, as some folks

might not want to call ld, but might be willing to help you.

If you're running tag or something similar, you'll want a hudson type

message processor.

Fmail or geco would serve. I would find that information out, chances are

your bbs

software will tell you in its documentation which tossers for fido format

will work with it.

Then, read the binkley docs, and acquire the software your bbs package

suggests.

If you're not sure, post a message and someone around can help.

It sounds like, at this point, what you need to do is some serious reading

of the documentation.

Do this and come back, maybe we can help you.

Regards,

Richard
