[ Quoting Andy Ulrich to All ]
AU> I don't know if I should give any of the government pinhead's and
AU> idea, but as far as I know it is illegal to listen to cordless phone
AU> freq's and conversations but if they wanted to do some thing about it
No, way it is not by any means illegal to listen to cordless phone
conversations, and as a matter of fact is not even against the law
(In Australia) to monitor Police\Ambulance\Fire Communications via
any Type of Radio transmission. However I am not certian about other
countries.
AU> they would have made it illegal to have the freq's programed into a
AU> scanner. You see they want pacify those who wanted the scanner
AU> enthusiast stopped but not enough to put teeth in the law. So the
AU> passed some more feel good legislation that made bad law.
