The Zoche Info Page now is nearly three years old, nothing new seems to be
happened in the last years. Imho the project is dead not because of the bad
design, the reason is another one. I talked a few years ago with an elder
chairman of a big german engineering company, producing Diesel engines for
all kinds of transportation and stationary purposes. He told me that Zoche
has the problem, he don`t want to cooperate with the "big" business in engine
design. In fact Zoche, what could be read two years ago in several magazines,
had a lot of trouble with the german LBA (aviation gouvernment) when trying
to get several certificates for his development. That LBA handled some secret
construction details in a kind, that could only be called as Industrial
espionage.
All I want to say is, this kind of engine is a "dead" construction, unless
Zoche will cooperate with a big company.
In Germany thats the way it is, visioneers don`t have any chance without the
right lobby. That's the reason why my interest on Zoche`s Diesel is not only
for technical purposes..
