| subject: | Cichlid Nightmare Need he |
Hello again,
I really, really need some advice so I am reaching out to the aquarium
communities for some much needed assistance. I would appreciate
anyone out there that can help me.
As I previously explained, my Dad has cichlids. He has a 55 gallon
tank with about 15 small cichlids.
Today he drained off some of the water and replaced it with fresh
water. The fish have begun to die. We cannot figure out what
happened. He lost an entire tank full doing the same thing before.
The temperature is correct and the water as far as we can tell is to.
He has a great filtering system and heater.
What could have caused this? Is there anything we can do to prevent
more fish from dieing?
Unfortunately, he is already talking about giving up the entire
cichlid hobby and I have just becoming interested in them myself. He
has endured a substantial financial loss already and this may be
perhaps the last straw.
Please help!!!
Thank you,
fool4hws
