subject: Networking two Warp4 machines

Please forgive me if this has already been discussed, but I just joined this
echo. Basically, I have two machines at home and I want to network them
together. I put network cards in both and set up everything that seemed
appropriate in MPTS and TCP/IP(LAN). I've read through the online
documentation. However, when I do a PING, it successfully pings itself, but
not the other machine. Both machines do this. I verified my connection (BNC
to each card--terminator on one end of each tee). I have no idea why the
machines can't see each other, and the trouble-shooting tips related to this
in the on-line help don't apply to my situation. Help!
Eventually, I'd like to be able to access disks on both machines and have one
machine use the other's printers and other devices. Is there any good single
source that steps a new user through this process?
Thanks for any help.
