HA! it is missing a lot of things that mailer operators came to expect...
scheduling of mail events, accepting inbound connections at certain times
while still handling outbound deliveries, dynamic routing and packing of
mail during events, etc...

in reality, binkd is little more than a protocol engine with some BSO
capabilities bolted on...
