HH> AHhhhhhhh . . . Tent caterpillars - spring is here!!
HH> (Hi Sandra!)
Hi, Harry. Our spring is not yet due - we lost most of our 6 inches
of snow yesterday with warm temps and high winds. The rest may go
today, depending on how much rain we get before the freezing rain
starts. But I am gearing up mentally for the spring rush - just read
a report that vindicated my raising Brandywine tomatoes - that old,
ugly heirloom not only is tops for taste (my father LOOOOVED them),
but is richer in Vit C when picked dead ripe than almost any other
tomato. Its biggest drawback is its lack of productivity - but how
many tomato sandwiches can you eat anyway? :-)
Oh well, think of me and pick an orange (not a lemon! :-))
...Sandra...
P.S. We do have one sign of spring - my one and only ewe produced a
ewe lamb, cute little thing, but born - natch! - on the coldest night
of the winter.
