John-
As you may have seen, my stand is on controlled breeding. The responses
I've received have ranged from "YES" to protect "motherhood and apple
pie". I'm sure you will agree, in a balanced environment, all life
thrives. Since we humans (with the big brains) have developed the
capabilities to turn the earth to desert, no doubt, we can no longer
rely on natural selection as an "outside" force to save us. If it
hasn't evolved in us yet, then we'll probabley "bite the big one" as
species and take thousands of "bystander" species with us. On the other
hand, we could use our "big brain" and survive.
This may not apply to you, but many say the concept of reducing human
breeding is faulty and wrong, I guess because I'm not mighty enough to
explain to them in detail, how it can be accomplished. To them I can
only say, "I'm only one life form, I need the rest of you to help".
Stop cursing the darkness and light a candle!" Please forward your
ideas. You may agree, I don't give a rat's patoot what the TRUTH is as
long as it is THE TRUTH.
Some say this country (the one that uses over half the world's
resources) is human population balanced. I believe we are still at 2.3
to 2.5 offspring per mated pair. Sounds like an increase to me. Heard
anything recent?
Hope to hear from you,
Andy
