How true.  Just look at the last three games of the NLCS.  14-0 and 15-0 
blowouts sandwitched around Maddux's 3-1 nail-biter.  That was so typical.  
But at least they played good defense behind Maddux that game; usually they 
play their worst defense when he's pitching, too (e.g. Game 2).
...  1996 NLCS Games 5-7:  Atlanta Braves 32 - St. Louis Cardinals 1!
