Does you like to handle the volumes in you desktop as if they were 
attached to your laptop?
Does you like to handle the volumes attached to your laptop as if they 
were attached to your your desktop?
Does you like to print on the laptop to the printer attached to your 
desktop?

When you answers one of the questions with YES! then you needs PEER 
else you have no need for.
