  But did you ever actually see the SNES CD drive or get any specs on it?  
We've already got a good deal of such info for the 64D .
  The modem?  Well, given the lack of any "Nintendo Channel" announcements, I 
take it they'd want to use one for head-to-head modem games.  Given the 
relative abundance of people who play modem Doom and such around here still, 
it seems likely.
