-> The Siren is the little brother of the Sirius. They were both made by

Edwin: Did I ever learn something! I thought that both boat (Siren and
Sandpiper) were made by C&L, they look identical except for the size
difference. When I was boat shopping I looked inside the Siren and after
being inside the Sandpiper there was no doubt which one I liked. Right
from the start I knew I was wanting a trailerable sailboat and the
Sandpiper was I thought right for me. Since then I have seen several
other makes of moving keel sailboats. I really like the wide beam on the
Sandpiper it makes as stable as possible.
I don't know if I will be going to the Boat show, I would only go down
with money to spend!
I really haven't priced berthing boats since I figured with a trailer
who needs it. Where to sail the boat is a consideration to me, Lake
Ontario can be a little rough at times (I have seen 20 knot winds and
four foot swells), most of my sailing at Lake Simcoe were quite pleasant
and the boating was fun except when we were becalmed. But I would much
rather just keep it here and take it where I want to go. I might spend
some time in Georgian Bay this summer and as long as there is free boat
launching areas around that is fine with me.
