RG>Many years ago I saw an article in some mag. that had a water wheel which

LP> Rick, I remember something about that in one of the old "Mother
LP> Earth News" magizines. The power output was very low however, and
LP> it was more of a demonstation than an actual source of power.
RG>Ahhh... I was recalling the torque as being tremendous and given the

water

>here so...
Rick, the torque would only be supplied by, and limited by, the weight of the
liquid on the downhill side. With a windmill, just get some of those hot
aired bankers in Big "D" to talk and you should have enough wind.
LP> However, it's been a number of years and I could be remembering it
LP> incorectly.
RG>I went through a "get rid of it" attack about 3 years ago and threw out
all the

Yep, sometimes you have to unload a few things just to be able to move
round.
I had all the "Mother Earth News" mags from issue 3 to about 1990. When we
moved from Colorado, we gave most of them to a family that could use the
information stored there.
Thanks, Lorin Potter
