After not finding a proper solution in months, I just "solved" my mail 
sending problem the quick and dirty way by applying Fixpak WR08421 
(INETVER 4.02e) to my FP15 system and shall try the same with eCS 1.2 
over the holidays.
At least I can send mail again from my Warp machine without reinstalling 
everything.
