A thought just occured to me, how about testing a Pritt stick? Simply
wipe it on as thick or thin as needed. It will dry hard. Unfortunately
I have no idea of its thermal conductivity but I estimate it should be
a pretty good thermal conductor with a high specific heat because it
feels quite cool when I touch the stick to the back of my hand. It
does state that it "conforms to ASTM D-4236", whatever that is.

... Just wondering if you are still out there in Fido land
