Must be God... :)

No. I'd give them a chance to either make it or end up in the compost
heap... :)
JE> ... new ones? Or is it possible to dunk the ones that are starting to go
JE> under?
I'd definitly not up-root them (so to speak... :) but the only way I'd take
them up and "dunk" them would be if they had only been in the rooting medium
for 24 hrs or less (and *not* treated with any rooting hormone)...
JE> Do you keep a bit of bleach in the water that they are sitting in, as
well,

When I take geramium cuttings, I don't 'water-root' them, as this is a very
elementary root system, and not at all what a plant ultimately must develope,
in order to grow in 'tera firma'. I know plenty of people who *do* elect to
do their 'starts' in water, but I use some sort of rooting medium, like
sand/peat (1:1), as the more complex root system that is required for soil
growth is developed from the beginning.
As far as keeping "a bit of bleach in the water", I would say *no*. The only
part of the geranium that you want to treat is "cut" part (to 'stem' any
infectuous pathogens).
Hope you meet with great success! Have a great Holiday Season!
cheers,
WL Sakowski
