Remember back in the 70's... the WishNiks? I've been passively collecting
them since I was a kid. Got quite a few (but I've heard there's a lady in
town with close to 1000 of the creatures!), mostly the ones that I find
interesting (which is how I collect everything).
I even picked up some Battle Trolls as a discount/clearance toystore a couple
years ago... now I wish I had gotten more when I had the chance.
I was looking at the ads in the back of "Collector's Mart Magazine" the other
day (researching a contract programming job, no less!) and saw that dragons
are apparently on the upswing. You might want to browse over to a local
bookstore (one that has a decent magazine section) and see if they have it.
If not, I can get you the publishers address and you can request a sample
from them... looks interesting, but not much of what =I= collect.
