I buy Commodore Format, which has a tape on the cover every month. It's nice to check out what they think is the latest PD stuff, ha! Also, sometimes they have a decent game too, (which I usually crack onto a disk for later use) > BO> 1. Are there any compatibility problems between the > BO> 'old' and 'new' models 64's and 1541's? Well, Moonlight's loader doesn't like 64C's and 1541-II's! ;) There's a few differences in the SID filter, which can't really be rectified (or tested for!) through software. There's also a few glitches in the new VIC, but nothing fatal. > BO> 2. Any way I could store the games on the 'ol XT (or > BO> amiga) and load them from the 64? Seriously, avoid tapes and emulators like the plague. > I am also in the amiga scene but still trade 64 stuff. Err, did you say XT? > Eeeekk! Nope, 64NET will load quicker than an Action Replay, actually! Try to beat a 200 block program in about 3-4 seconds... on an XT! > BO> Impossible Mission Someone will have this... > BO> The Boulderdash Series - I have some of these (& the editor) > BO> Paradroid - I had it until I needed a disk to use... > BO> Uridium - It's around. I disagree, and I'm sure many 64 owners would. You may have missed out on Mayhem in Monsterland, Lemmings, Arc Doors, Penguin Towers and a few others that have come out in the last few months.. A lot of people still prefer the gameplay of the 64 to the graphics and sound of the Amiga or 486...
