Granted Ivy is obviously a cat lover.. but who is to say that the folks
that take her kittens will not let them breed over and over too?
And I bet if Ivy kept track of all the kittes that she has helped
bring in to the world, the numbers would be staggering.. I do not
deny that kittens are adorable, fuzzy little angels that make your heart
melt.. but they soon grow out of that stage and become lean, mean, breeding
machines.. As a receptionist in an animal shelter I see far too many
cats come in seriously injured, or even DOA because they weren't spayed/
neutered and either over bred, got hit by cars, or attacked by other
animals while out searching for a mate.
It is my hope that anyone who does breed cats or dogs would be required
to have a breeding lisence, and a signed contract from all owners promising
to spay or neuter thier pets.
Just my two cents..
... If cats had wings there would be no sea gulls crapping on the beach.
