As I may have mentioned, I work at a local animal shelter and have
to see the results of people's lack of responsibility ever day.. wether
it's the stack of dead animals in the freezer, or the cages of wounded
or ill unneutered/unspayed cats and dogs.. I can't deny that I see the
attraction of a small, fuzzy kitten.. but when that kitten is alone is
a cage at 4 weeks, abandoned by it's mother, and has a slim chance to
survive.. it stops being cute, and starts being heart breaking.
