JB>How different could it have been? I watched a 5 second tutorial on the model JB>(Admittedly, it was done more to confuse, and ha-ha than instruct.) Now THAT JB>would have been a 'handfull'. I don't know if I'd be safe driving one for th JB>first few miles anyway. the handiliong, Particualrly Cornering was Radicaly differnet. Adn if you misjudged by going in to a corner a liottle fast you BETTER stat off the brake becasue the switch form Under steer to Over steer comen on so fast you typicaly roll the car. You need to just maintain Throttle. Hang on and Pray. With caution at first you can get the Feel of the Car and then al lis alright. In the old days the Corvair Owners lover to beat the Corvettes i nthe short course Parking lot events. The NOSE heavy corvet would plow and scrub off speed there as the Corviar i nthe hands of an experienced Corvair driver cornered like it was o nRails. OF course the course couldn't have the straingt sections to long or their superior straight away speed would eat you alive. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ This note from El Cajon California USA* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/2000 633/267 |
