Hello all,
I am still writing my pkt twitter, and it's still a bit
slow. I read 30K into a buffer from the packet, and I can find the
twits and the message starts and ends pretty quickly, but now I'm not
sure how to remove the twitted messages. The easiest way would be to
just write the messages to the new file from the buffer one at a time,
except for the twitted messages.

Would this be as fast as saving up all the non-twit messages and
writing them to the new file in one go?

PS: I decided to take Paul's advice and enter this technical question
in AVT. Bloody hell! I wrote it out and then I came across the foofoo
about whether Bill lives in NSW or Qld, with Ron T in full flight, so
I moved the message back to locuser. What a pack of wankers!

It serves me right for taking Paul's advice on a non-programming
subject.

Regards,
Bob
