Irex does work with Telegard, well. I used Irex, gecho and telegard 
using Jam bases and it worked flawlessly. I did want to setu up email 
and newsgroups with Telegard and I could not get that flowing, although 
it was my ignorance on how to setup Irex for that. You can use the 
between.bat file for Irex to toss your mail if you don't want to set up 
bunch of batch files.
