BH>I don't mind coffee in small amounts. Especially if it has a flavoured

BH>Hortons". It doesn't taste anything like coffee. Just watch out though
BH>since I think it is almost all sugar and flavoring.
I love that stuff, but I don't dare add it to my list of hot drinks.
The last thing my (poor) health needs is another addiction to a
proscribed food or beverage. >:-( But if my hubby gets one...

BH>I use leftover tins for storage of flour and other baking supplies. I
BH>recently got a really good price for 20 pounds of flour and the tins all

Now flour I keep stored in the freezer. That way, if I don't bake for
a month or two, it stays fresh, and all I have to pitch is a small
canister upstairs. This is especially needful for whole wheat flour,
which loses its vitamins and goes rancid shortly. That gives flour
a flat sour taste, and wreaks havoc in your body. And I usually keep
my w.w. soft flour in the upstairs freezer over the fridge, where it
doesn't come out till I bake or make pancakes or whatever.
My best storage containers are glass - I have numerous restaurant
pickle jars left over from my milking days, and a couple are
permanent incubators for my Kombucha cultures. :-)
