-> JY> The news says what we tell them to say. Trust me on this..
->
-> If I should trust you on this I would have be an american, but Iÿm not.

"Trust me on this..."...a common tounge-in-cheek phrase used in
this echo. It
means exactly the opposite of what it says. It is one of the many MC&D
cachisms you will learn to decipher once you purchase a decoder ring from the
moderator at the bargain price of $127.50...and you can definately trust me
on /this/.

->
-> JY>>> We also need better whisky and a place to store broccoli.
->
-> BF>> Emigrate to Scotland..... for both reasons.
->
-> JY> Too cold, and I never learned how to farm rocks.
->
-> You are as prejuiced as always but the whisky will keep you warm and if it
-> doesÿt,
-> the rock-farming will.
-> Scotland is nice, I have been there, and they talk even funnyer than the
-> Aussies.
-> But after 5 McEwans I understood it all and I even saw Nessie. She sends
her
-> greetings.

Jack is not at all prejudice. He is participating in the drivel according to
echo rules...the Scot's return their love as well. They would have it no
other way as they helped found the echo almost 20 years ago.

-> BF>> Funny though, I refer to other countrys and you to other
US states.
You
->  BF>> must be rather narrow-minded.
->
-> JY> No, you live in a narrow country. We have states that are bigger than
->  JY> countries in Europe.
->
-> And the mouth to go with it to.
-> Yankee tourists in Europe are called parrots. They are colored and loud.
-> The Germans are only loud.

Tankee tourists, by experience gained in Florida, know that the best way to
avoid becoming the target in "target practise" is to sport
colorful plumage
and generally make oneself an overly easy target. The hunters will go in
search of more challenging prey...such as German's.
