KU> It has always been thus in real life. It is just that the bean

Do not agree that it's "always been thus in real life". It's only been
lately with the surge of HMOs. Why is there so much news about HMOs
refusing needed care?
KU> Germany also has an unemployment rate stuck in the mid-teens, a GDP
KU> way below ours, job creation rate well below ours, etc. etc. FYI, much
KU> of the rest of Europe has similar problems if they have the more
KU> socialist outlooks so reunification is not the sole reason for above.
KU> FWIW the actual effective top rate is nearly 40% because they lose
KU> deductions like IRAs, and even a %age of itemized above a certain
KU> level.
If things are so bad in Germany why and how are they beating the soxs off
us in world trade?
KU> I believe our top rate should be
RK>increased to pay for better health care coverage for everyone, excludin
RK>one.
KU> My guess is you don't pay the top rate and are worried about you
KU> health insurance. So you are talking about other people's money.
You're right, I don't pay the top rate being retired, but I am not worried
about my health insurance. I'm OK. Pity more don't care about those less
^^
fortunate.
