| subject: | Assembler in OS/2 |
Thanks Magnus Eriksson for your msg about Assembler in OS/2, on Monday, 11-07-1994! No, there is no magic to worry about. Just be aware that all of the memory model crap you leared under Dos is no more. Everything is just offsets, so you don't fiddle with segment registers at all. Most assemblers have long offered an 'ideal' mode, and that ideal mode is really nice under OS/2 because of the lack of segmentation concerns. It becomes so easy that its funny. ___ X KWQ/2 1.2b X Look Ma, I'm a *Beta Tester*: KWQ Mail/2 for OS/2 v2.0! --- Maximus/2 2.02* Origin: Fernwood - your source for OS/2 files!
