TW>TA>I have tried GRAMPS and found it less satisfactory than Legacy and/or
TW>TA>my old MS-DOS Family History System by Phil Brown, that is my main
TW>TA>genealogy data base (that Brown has decided to not upgrade to today's
TW>TA>Windows O/Ss unfortunately 8-(

TW>TA>I wonder what genealogy program you find most useful to you?

TW> I have played with genealogy but never got very truned onm. Even
TW> though the Little Genealogy library that I took care of the Computers
TW> for a couple of years tried theri best to get me interested. Anyhow I
TW> use the FREE "PAF" program. NOT als the bells and whistles
as some of
TW> the programs for the really serious but a perfect one for others. Adn
TW> the PRICE is sure right.

You might visit www.Libertytree.com some time and download a copy
of their free basic Legacy program that works quite nicely and
it is helpful that one can include a operating program with data
base to other members of families so they become envoled as well.
They also have a elistmail that supports their system quite well.

Ciao, Ack.
