I was searching as well. It looks like it does not currently come with KDE as a
dependency or anything like that, but it is, in fact, freely available on
sourceforge as well as available through most, if not all, package managers. I
run a Gentoo server as well as an Archlinux VM here, and it's easily available
on both via their package managers.

I don't know where the fine line is in regards to what's put on the filegate,
which is why I asked.

I would have to say that this would fall under that category, then.. just from
what I can pull up via both 'emerge -pv kmymoney' as well as 'pacman -S
kmymoney'.

I only skimmed for the detail that answered my original question. I've read
that document multiple times, but I'm never going to say that I remember it
