I can definitely agree with this--it's a given. I think that emotional
changes in "humans" will take at least a century--probably
much longer; these, more radical, changes in humanity will need to await
radical genetic change in brains, or perhaps,
micro/nanotech implementation of cybertech supplementation of brains.
Degrees of emotional modification might result in humans
genengineered into radical morphologies, with resulting radically modified
biochemistries (organs, hormones, neurotransmitters,
etc.) In any event, by the 3d millennium, a large portion of the
genengineered human race will be totally unrecognizable to humans
of today; changes will not be just physical and mental, but also in
widespread basic ethics, philosophies, and goals of genformed
humanity. Sure wish I could live to see it! ...tonyC
