subject: w98 & HDs anyway

-> I think Murphy may be lurking twix us. I have received 3 emails
-> but only one has a file attachment of 6197KB (and the earliest
-> time line posting) which does match the 11MB you mentioned.

Geez I watched that stinking file TX on the external modem for 45
minutes.

Could be Verizon changed their protocols AGAIN to prevent large file
transfers.

Perhaps I'll put the hard drive in the 486 into this machine
and send it at 56K as that would actually be easier than what I went
through the last time.

-> Rather than consume bandwith here I will email you responses so
-> you may be able make better sense of it all.

Next day or so I slap the HD into this sucker.
Too small to be useful for a Linux install it's already partitioned
for a mini-Linux and I could at least save the preferences
and configs there.

Setup an OLR and ztelnet too.
