Yes UNIX is an OS and those of us who aren't being childish
know what that means and don't really care about the 'branding'
by various vendors that took place over several decades. 

Roughly a third of all discussions on FIDO become nit-picking
word games for those who like to play "GOTCHA!". 

It's not easy to discuss anything but the weather on FIDO
without someone posting the obligatory "No, you're wrong!"
response to anything and everything.
