It is not speculative that a policeman died as a result of actions of
the mob.  It is not speculative that more than 380,000 people have died
of Covid.  In the beginning stages, Trump stood on the stage with
experts who said that models predicted as few as 60,000 deaths *IF*
people practiced social distancing, wore masks and avoided crowds.  And
then he went on to actively discourage those very safety measures.  He
could have acted differently.  He knew it was serious (as early as
Feb.), but kept downplaying it in public instead of telling the awkward
truth.

Neither of those movements have anything to do with Joe Biden.  And
Trump's rioters did a lot more than break a window.  Many of them will
now face prosecution for federal crimes.
