subject: OS/2 hang in os2lvm.dmd

G'day all,

Hoping someone may have some ideas with the below problem:

Background:
160gig disk - originally setup with a Via Chipset motherboard.
Disk now mounted in a system with NForce2 chipset.
1st boot - hang in os2lvm.dmd

Replace current version of danis506.add with the last version that
DOESN'T support the Nforce2 chipset (ie v1.3.8).

Appears that the NForce2 chipset recognises the disk differently from
what the Via chipset did - and that in the LVM/JFS information - some
kind of disk information is stored, and as the information doesn't match
- OS/2 hangs.

If I hide the JFS partitions, I can boot OS/2 using latest Danis506.add

danis506.add /v shows the following:
R1.3.8 /v
Daniela's Bus Master IDE Driver for eCS Version 1.3.8

& with the latest version:
R1.6.8 /v
Daniela's Bus Master IDE Driver for OS/2 Version 1.6.8
Controller:0 Port:01F0 IRQ:0E Status:OK

    OS2:log phys BPB/BIOS IDE:log phys Total Sectors
   C 19457 65535 65535 16383 Avail 312581808
   H 255 16 255 16 16 OS2 312576705
   S 63 63 63 63 63 % Used 99.99

Any ideas how I can fix things so the JFS partitions can be seen when
using a version of danis506 that correctly supports the nForce chipset??

Cheers,

Paul.
