| subject: | Ctrl-Break / Ctrl-C Checking |
Hello All! How do I turn-off Ctrl-Break / Ctrl-C checking in my program using the Borland compiler. The signal function (which I thought would do the trick) did not work as anticipated. I'm simply calling: signal(SIGINT, SIG_IGN); // Ctrl-C ignore signal(SIGBREAK, SIG_IGN); // Ctrl-Break ignore One caveat listed in the Library Reference states, "Special care must be taken when using the signal function in a multithread program. The SIGINT, SIGTERM, and SIGBREAK signals can be used only by the main thread in a non-PM application." I have written a multithread terminal "test" program using my low-level ASYNC library. I can post the source if needed. Thanks...
