Well, I think this is a little bit different than a low period in activity.  
Most of the posts here are either completely off-topic or just down-right, 
foul-mouthed flames...  (ahem Jeff)

 That is a tough question to answer!  There is no way that any of you can be 
sure of that without knowing me personally...  However, let me at least say 
that I USED to greatly enjoy this echo, a long time ago.  Then there was the 
fight between the moderator and his co's.  I do recall one of the co's (who 
was great at posting FAQ's) trying to start another echo, COIN-OP.  
 After that, the echo just went downhill.  Anything that the moderator 
slightly disagreed with was lamblasted by him.  I started visiting the echo 
less and less...  In fact, when I noticed that it is now moderator-less, I 
had not visited for at least 5 months.
 When I saw that it had no moderator, I saw an oppurtunity to return it to 
what it once was, something I enjoyed...
 Anyhow, if I do become moderator, and people dislike me, I would be 
perfectly willing to step down...
