really??? i just posted a couple of messages the other day... granted, the
traffic has been low and i did look at your posted connection log the other
day and saw quite a few failed connections...

that's probably due to my line going crappy with the weather again... i'm
in the process of getting things together to replace that line with new
poles and 1000 feet of new cable... i had to make some pieces of hardware
and that's taken me a few days to find the raw materials here and then to
get the fabrication done... now it is time to go back up thru the run with
the chainsaw clearing some more growth and finally using the Mark I
physical labor to pull the old 118 foot cedar poles out and replace them
with treated 4x4... now gonna be a fun job at all... i won't even mention
having to carry the 12 foot fiberglass A ladder up through the woods and
very uneven ground to be able to get the cable lifted and mounted... i'm
hoping to have it done before monday if the weather holds out decently...
